The 225L Bordeaux is our most popular Barrel for both Red & White Wines, we have found that using this type of barrel gives a more concentrated flavour. For those wanting to use for high quality or sensitive wines (Such as Pinot Noir or Riesling) then we recommend a very tight grain of Oak (Such as: Grand Reserve) to give your wine the best flavours.
